Everything you need to get started with Orbix Authenticator.
1. Download Orbix Authenticator for your platform (macOS or Windows).
2. Open the app and create an account with your email and password.
3. You're ready to add your first 2FA account.
Click the + button to add a new 2FA account. Enter the account name (e.g. "GitHub"), an optional issuer, and the secret key provided by the service.
You can find your secret key in the security settings of the service you want to protect. Look for "Authenticator app" or "2FA setup".
Your verification codes refresh automatically every 30 seconds. A progress bar shows how much time is left before the next code.
Click on any code to copy it to your clipboard instantly. Then paste it into the login form of the service.
Workspaces let you share 2FA accounts with your team. Create a workspace, invite members by email, and add shared accounts.
Owners can add/remove members and manage all accounts. Members can view codes and add new accounts.
Your password is securely encrypted before being stored. Authentication tokens expire automatically for added security.
We recommend using a strong, unique password for your Orbix account and keeping your desktop app updated.
